Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Aleksandar Vulin today asked the international community to help 300,000 people banished from Kosovo-Metohija return to their homes.
Vulin, who is on a working visit to New York, met today with UN Deputy Secretary General Jan Eliasson.
He said they agreed at the meeting that all international institutions must remain fully status-neutral, reiterating that all future the talks must be conducted in line with UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and under the status-neutral framework.
Vulin observed that Serbia has fulfilled all its obligations towards the international community and that it is now time for the international community to do the same.
He also showed gratitude for everything UNMIK has undertaken in order to protect Serbs in the province.
