The Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo-Metohija condemned today the latest incident in the village of Bica in Klina municipality of attempted burglary of the houses of Serb returnees with the use of firearms.
In the village of Bica there are five returnee families that are exposed to constant violence and pressures and the Office for Kosovo-Metohija requests from the international community to help the returnee families and provide them with at least a minimum of safety and guarantee property and legal security.
The Office for Kosovo-Metohija thanked soldiers of KFOR for their intervention which prevented even greater violence and requested once more that the international community does not reduce its presence.
Last night around 9 pm in the village of Bica the houses of Serb returnees were attacked, and the burglary was prevented by neighbour Dragan Perunicic who stopped a vehicle of KFOR that was patrolling through that village in Metohija.
