When expressed in Euros, the foreign trade amounted to €13388.9 million, which is a 4% increase compared to the same period last year.
The value of exports amounted to $6317.9 million, which is a 7.7% decrease when compared to the same period last year, while the value of imports amounted to $10935.2 million, which is a 3.3% decrease relative to the same period last year.
When expressed in Euros, the value of exports amounted to €4906.1 million, which is a 1% increase compared to the same period last year. The value of imports amounted to €8482.8 million, which is a 5.7% increase when compared to the same period last year.
The deficit stands at $4617.3 million, which is an increase of 3.6% in relation to the same period last year. The deficit expressed in Euros stands at €3576.7 million, which is an increase of 13.0% compared to the same period last year.
The export - import ratio equalled 57.8% and was lower if compared to the same period last year when it was 60.6%.
