Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Aleksandar Vulin requested from representatives of the international community to respect the authorities they were given and to act in line with them to ensure order and the rule of law, because no one else in the province can do that.
International community representatives were asked whether there can be a single day in the province without having at least one Serb returnee getting beaten up, killed or wounded, or Serb property damaged or seized.
Is it possible to have one day without news from the southern province about a new instance of violence for which no one will be punished, he asked.
The Office for Kosovo-Metohija also demanded that the perpetrators who last night stoned the municipal hall in Kosovska Mitrovica be located and punished.
This latest stoning is an evident continuation of Pristina’s policy to increase tension in the province and accept violence as a natural way of life in Kosovo-Metohija, reads the Office’s statement.
