Office for Kosovo-Metohija protests over arrest of Serb at Merdare crossing

The Office for Kosovo-Metohija has sent a protest over the arrest of a Serb from Kosovo-Metohija, Aleksandar Bulatovic, noting that the goal of such actions is to make pressure on the Serbian community.
The statement from the Office for Kosovo-Metohija reads that Aleksandar Bulatovic was arrested on 13 August 2012 at the administrative crossing Merdare on suspicion of war crimes.
Criminal proceedings against the Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija for acts allegedly committed during the armed conflicts are initiated in order to make pressure on the Serbs resulting in further exodus from the Serbian communities, and to prevent potential returnees to return in fear from the arrests, the statement added.
