Commemoration to Ivan Jovovic and Pantelija Dakic was held today in Gorazdevac near Pec. Jovovic and Dakic were killed nine years ago by still unidentified persons who fired on a group of Serbian children swimming in the Bistrica River.
The memorial service was held by bishop Teodosije at the Holy Mother Church.
Due to the lack of evidence, EULEX closed the investigation in 2010, which was taken over by UNMIK.
On 13 August 2003, boys Ivan Jovovic (19) and Pantelija Dakic (13) were killed, while Marko Bogicevic (12), Dragan Srbljak (13), Bogdan Bukumiric (14) and Djordje Ugrenovic (20) were severely wounded.
The Office for Kosovo-Metohija yesterday
called on UNMIK and EULEX to reopen the investigation into this crime.
