Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with Czech parliament speaker Lubomir Zaoralek and pointed to the importance of the traditionally good relations of Serbia-Montenegro and the Czech Republic.
Kostunica said that the Czech experience is valuable for Serbia-Montenegro’s integration in the EU, noting that the government has forwarded over 100 bills to the parliament in only eight months in order to harmonise the local judiciary with EU standards.
Zaoralek said that the Czech Republic wants to share its experiences with Serbia-Montenegro in the process of European integration, noting that Serbia-Montenegro has full support of the Czechs on the path of EU accession.
The two officials agreed that the cooperation of the two countries is good and expressed readiness to further work on its improvement.
