Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic stated today that the latest decision of the authorities in Pristina not to let him visit Kosovo-Metohija shows that there is no freedom of movement in that province.
Bogdanovic told Tanjug news agency that this decision is a kind of blackmail and pressure and an indicator of the lack of democratic potential of Kosovo institutions.
According to him, this shows how Serbs live in Kosovo-Metohija today and how much Kosovo institutions respect one of the fundamental human rights, which is the right to the freedom of movement.
The Minister underlined that his house is in Kosovo-Metohija and that his family lives there.
Bogdanovic was scheduled to visit Kosovsko Pomoravlje district today and to attend the opening of a kindergarten which was built by the funds of the Ministry, and tomorrow a liturgy at the Gracanica monastery on the occasion of St. Vitus Day.
