State Secretary for Kosovo-Metohija Oliver Ivanovic has harshly condemned the attack at a Serbian orthodox monk in the southern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.

Ivanovic told Tanjug news agency that the attack is an indicator of the actual state of affairs in the field.
He said that the Kosovo Police Service (KPS) and EULEX are not capable of performing their main task, namely to protect all citizens in the province.
Monk Mitrofan was beaten today in the southern part of Kosovska Mitrovica when he was attacked by two unknown persons.
