Stefanovic said in statement to "Most" TV from Zvecan that the Agreement on free movement stipulates that both sides will do everything possible that the people who live in Kosovo use KS and RKS tables, and reiterated that Serbia does not have any obligation to accept one-sided and illegal decisions of the authorities in Pristina.
What has happened in the past few days in Kosovo-Metohija is a result of the unilateral act of violence by the authorities in Pristina, he said.
This is their act of violence and by doing this they are trying to prevent citizens to enter the territory of Kosovo-Metohija with the licence plates issued by the Serbian Ministry of the Interior with the initials of Kosovo towns, the head of the team for dialogue with Pristina said.
He said that many meetings were held with representatives of the international community on this matter so that the problem would be solved as soon as possible.
The Republic of Serbia will never stop issuing licence plates and documents and that is not, nor will be part of the agreement with Pristina, Stefanovic said and reiterated that the agreements reached are public, clear and in line with the Serbian Constitution.
Stefanovic pointed out that after the establishment of the new government it is necessary to take appropriate measures that will enable citizens in the province to continue using Serbian licence plates.
