The Serbian Statistics Office stated that the average gross salary in Serbia in April 2012 stood at RSD 58,465 which is up by 4.2% in nominal terms than the average salary in March 2012 and by 3.6% in real terms.
April take-home salary stood at RSD 42,215, up 4.1% in nominal and 3.5% in real terms than in the previous month.
Compared with April 2011, the average gross salary in April 2012 rose by 7.2% nominally and 4.4% in real terms.
April net salary rose 7.4% nominally and 4.6% in real terms against April 2011.
The average gross salary in the period January–April 2012 compared to the same period in 2011 went up by 9.9% in nominal terms and 5.6% in real terms.
The average net salary in the period January–April 2012 against the same period in 2011 went up by 10.2% in nominal terms and 5.9% in real terms.
Compared with April 2011, the average gross salary in April 2012 rose by 7.2% nominally and 4.4% in real terms.
