Bogdanovic calls upon EULEX to protect Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic stated last night that the motive for the arrest of head of the Kosovo District Goran Arsic is to further aggravate the situation in the province and demanded that the international community ensures the protection of Serbs there.
Bogdanovic told Tanjug news agency that it is high time for the EULEX to react, adding that all relevant international factors in the province should also be engaged to put an end to the meaningless harassment of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija by the Kosovo police, which has been increased for the past month and a half.
The Minister noted that the reason for Arsic’s arrest is unknown and non-existent, stressing that the motives and the goal are clear – to further exacerbate the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and to frighten Serbs.
