Creating conditions for safety of all citizens in Kosovo-Metohija

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria Wolfgang Waldner agreed during today’s talks that the most important thing is to create conditions for the full safety of all citizens in the province.
Bogdanovic and Waldner agreed that the priority at this moment is to reduce tensions caused by the recent incidents.
They also highlighted the need for holding the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections in Kosovo-Metohija, after which dialogue would be resumed as the only possible way of solving the existing problems. Bogdanovic voiced his positive opinion regarding the technical support which the OSCE Mission would provide at these elections. During the meeting, which was also attended by Austrian Ambassador to Belgrade Clemens Koja, Waldner said that Austria is ready to give full support to the continuation of the process of European integration of Serbia.
