Funds for holding presidential elections provided

The Ministry of Finance announced today that funding for the holding of the presidential election has been provided within the budgetary reserve amounting to RSD 1.39 billion, which will, at tomorrow's government session, will be transferred to authorities in charge of elections.
The statement said that RSD 843 million will be allocated for the financing of election campaigns, while for the Republican Electoral Commission will be provided RSD 550 million.
Bearing in mind that the presidential elections are held simultaneously with parliamentary and local elections, the Serbian budget will thus save RSD 598 million, the statement added.
