During the meeting with families of the members of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior who had been recently arrested in Kosovo-Metohija and today by the decision of the Kosovo Supreme Court released from detention in Pristina and Gnjilane where they had been kept since 25 February, Dacic underlined that they were arrested without any proof or reason, although they did not conduct any police activities in Kosovo.
He noted that in the previous weeks Serbia exerted diplomatic efforts on international organizations so that Serbian policemen get released.
Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic, who attended the meeting, said that this kind of problems must be resolved systemically so that no one would arrest Serbs again and that such practice must be stopped.
Bogdanovic stated that at this moment it is most important that the released policemen go back to their families, adding that the relevant ministry and the Serbian government will offer them aid.
For now they will be given a one-off aid worth RSD 50,000 so that they could cover the costs of lawyer services.
