The Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija stated that in a brutal action by Kurti's so-called Kosovo police, five Serbs were detained this morning in the village of Suvo Grlo near Srbica.
The statement says that the "Kosovo police" blocked this village, broke down the doors of family houses, conducted searches and in full view of their families, wives and children, detained the Serb householders, who have been living peacefully in their homes for years, and then took them to Priština.
The families of those arrested were told that they were suspected of war crimes, although it is clear that this is Kurti's plan to instill fear in this Serb enclave where Serbs build a life with their families, and intimidate and force the locals to flee.
For Kurti, the arrests for alleged war crimes in Kosovo and Metohija are a cover for retaliation and harassment of Serbs, given that all arrests of Serbs for alleged war crimes are carried out without any credible witnesses or material evidence, but exclusively as a form of pressure and a mechanism to intimidate Serbs into leaving their villages, the statement said.
