The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the city will thus become leader in the manufacturing of air conditioners not only in Serbia but also abroad, adding that Gorenje plans to hire 400 new workers in the new factory in the next three years.
The Republic of Serbia has an obligation to cover the investment with 20% of the total value and provide the business infrastructure, and the city of Valjevo will prepare all the documentation necessary for the realisation of the project within 30 days, Kalanovic added.
