Government adopts instruction on how Serbian representatives should act in regional meetings

Director of the Media Relations Office Milivoje Mihajlovic said that the Serbian government adopted today the instruction on how the Serbian representatives should act in regional meetings dedicated to regional cooperation where representatives of Pristina interim authorities also participate.

Mihajlovic told the Tanjug news agency that Serbian representatives will attend meetings if the board under the name of Kosovo* includes the text of the footnote, agreed in Brussels, which must be sufficiently visible and legible in English.
The Pristina delegation will be represented without the display of the flag and other symbols, said Mihajlovic.
He added that members of the Serbian delegation are required to read a statement that the presence of Pristina is in accordance with the agreement on regional representation and that the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija is part of the Republic of Serbia.
If the organiser fails to comply with these instruction, the Serbian delegation will be obliged to leave the meeting, concluded Mihajlovic.
