UNMIK to be contacted in upcoming days regarding elections in Kosovo-Metohija

Director of the Office of Media Relations Milivoje Mihajlovic said today that the Serbian government will send a letter to UNMIK in the coming days regarding the local elections in Kosovo-Metohija.
Mihajlovic told the Tanjug news agency that the elections are scheduled for the territory of the whole of Serbia, adding that the government has to contact UNMIK since the province is under the protectorate of the United Nations.
Member of the Electoral Commission Veljko Odalovic said in a statement to the Tanjug news agency that the Commission will soon contact UNMIK regarding the parliamentary elections due on 6 May.
