Observed by sections, in January 2012 compared to the same month 2011, the manufacturing sector dropped by 7.6%, mining and quarrying increased by 10.9% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply rose by 6.2%.
January 2012 data on industrial production by destination, compared to January 2011, recorded a drop in the production of the capital goods (18.8 %), non-durable consumer goods (9.0%), durable consumer goods (8.4%) and intermediate products, energy excluded (3.2%), while growth was recorded in energy (5.1%).
Industrial production this January, compared to the same month in 2011, indicates a drop in 17 divisions, which participate in the structure of industrial production with 58%, and growth in 12 divisions, which participate in the structure of industrial production with 42%.
