McCroskey thanked the Serbian government, the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA), Ministry of Economy and Regional Development and the US Embassy in Belgrade for their support in the realisation of this investment.
Serbian President Boris Tadic said at the opening of the centre that Serbia, after insurmountable problems it experienced in 1990s, now creates perspective for its people.
He pointed out that the reasons why this American company arrived in Serbia are the very words every citizen of Serbia wants to hear.
Tadic expressed his gratitude to the American company for choosing Serbia and added that he is confident that the Serbian workers will demonstrate that they were a good choice for this company.
He also expressed hope that NCR will find reasons and interest in launching production in Serbia.
US Ambassador to Serbia Mary Warlick said that this investment will be very important for Serbia because it will help economic development and create new jobs at a time full of challenges for all economies of the world.
I am convinced that this will be an example and catalyst for many new investments that will come in the coming months and years, said Warlick.
