External trade increases in 2011

The Statistics Office stated that the overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for the period January-December 2011 amounted to $31916.1 million, which was a 20.3% increase compared to the same period 2010.
Trade expressed in euros stood at €22889.1 million, which was a 14.4% increase compared to the same period 2010.
The value of exports amounted to $11776.7 million, which was a 20.2% increase when compared to the same period last year, while the value of imports amounted to $20139.4 million, which was a 20.3% increase relative to the same period last year.
Expressed in euros, the value of exports amounted to €8439.4 million, which was the increase of 14.1%, compared to the same period last year. The value of imports amounted to €14449.7 million, which was a 14.5% increase when compared to the same period last year.
