Head of the Serbian government’s team for dialogue with Pristina Borislav Stefanovic said today that the date for continued dialogue with Pristina has not yet been determined because the two sides disagree about Pristina’s regional representation.
Stefanovic told the Tanjug news agency that this will be discussed with EU’s mediator in the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina Robert Cooper, who will visit Belgrade this week.
This will be an opportunity to discuss various options for resolving this issue, he said noting that Serbia absolutely insists on the use of UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
He noted that the regional representation of Pristina with a footnote "without prejudice to the status" is acceptable for Belgrade, but only as an addition to the reference to Resolution 1244.
