Ilic told Tanjug that the German government gave support to business deals of German and Serbian companies, noting that they discussed the manufacturing of 1,000 railway wagons.
According to him, the wagons would be manufactured by Gosa, Minel and other Serbian companies in cooperation with ThyssenKrupp and additional German companies, whereas the operations would be financed by the German party.
The Capital Investment Minister announced that our expert team will visit Germany very soon to start talks on the delivery of German locomotives for the needs of the Serbian railway.
Ilic and Stolpe also discussed the Danube river traffic, construction of the bridge near Novi Sad, situation in Jat Airways, revitalisation of the agreement with air concern Airbus, construciton of Corridor 10 and other topics relevant for Serbia’s traffic network.
According to Ilic, they also mentioned that the Belgrade-Bar highway could be an extension of Corridor 10, which would pave way for better connection with European banks and investors.
