Head of the Serbian team for talks with Pristina Borislav Stefanovic stated that agreement has not been reached regarding regional and international representation of Pristina’s provisional institutions.
In a statement for today’s issue of Politika daily, Stefanovic underlined that it is unacceptable for Serbia that Pristina be represented outside UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
He noted that the issue of Pristina’s representation at regional and international gatherings is being discussed with the international community, adding that efforts are being made to bring the stances of the two sides closer.
The international community’s activity should be focused on Pristina because Pristina must give up on its maximalist demands and the need to eliminate Resolution 1244 which is the last valid foundation of the international legal stance towards the status of Kosovo-Metohija and the province’s representation.
