Belgrade respects agreement on freedom of movement reached in Brussels

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic said today the procedures on the freedom of movement agreed on in Brussels between Belgrade and Pristina delegations are fully respected and implemented at all administrative crossings.

Bogdanovic told Tanjug news agency that the persons with Kosovo identity documents are allowed normal entry to Serbia at the Merdare crossing, and rejected statements by Kosovo officials that Belgrade does not respect the agreement on free movement.
The procedure agreed on in Brussels is respected and implemented at all crossing points, but is now taking much longer due to additional crowds after the holidays, said the Minister.
According to Bogdanovic, Pristina is in this way trying to influence Brussels to put pressure on Belgrade, which is nothing new, as it has been trying for months to raise technical issues to the political level.
