Head of the Serbian government’s team for dialogue with Pristina Borislav Stefanovic said that during today's talks via video link with EU mediator Robert Cooper no agreement has been reached regarding representation of Pristina at regional meetings.
Stefanovic told Tanjug news agency that none of the options proposed today are in accordance with international law and UN Security Council Resolution 1244, which is why it was not possible to reach a concrete agreement.
He announced that talks on the subject are likely to be continued tomorrow and the day after, and pointed out that at moment it is clear that Serbia has done everything it was asked in the report of the European Commission and that the decision on whether to grant it candidate status for membership in the EU is now entirely on the EU.
We will do everything to make a progress on the issue of regional representation, Stefanovic said and underlined that the solution must be consistent with the Serbian Constitution and Resolution 1244.
