Head of the Serbian government’s team for dialogue with Pristina Borislav Stefanovic said that at the proposal of the Serbian delegation dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina aimed at finding solutions to administrative crossings and regional representation of Kosovo has been resumed.
Stefanovic announced that Belgrade prepared several concrete proposals for resolving the remaining contentious issues, and added that the international community is expected to put pressure on Pristina to abandon their maximalist demands.
We expect to see additional constructiveness by Pristina so it no longer insists on confirmation of its so-called sovereignty, because Belgrade cannot agree to that, Stefanovic said.
He said that the Serbian delegation has made several concrete proposals and no one can accuse Belgrade of obstructing dialogue.
He also expressed his belief that an agreement is very close, but that the last steps are often the hardest ones.
