Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with a delegation of the Russian oil company Lukoil, headed by the company’s president Vagit Alekperov, and pointed to the importance of the overall cooperation of Serbia-Montenegro and the Russian Federation.
Kostunica stressed the importance of Lukoil’s presence in our country. Lukoil’s president showed special interest in additional investment in energy and petrochemical sectors, noting that Serbia occupies an important place in further investment plans of Lukoil.
Also present at the talks were Russian Ambassador to Serbia-Montenegro Alekseev Aleksandr, Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Radomir Naumov and Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations Milan Parivodic.
