Stefanovic told reporters last night after the negotiations that Belgrade and Pristina did not manage to agree on the issue of regional representation of Pristina and added that the negotiations will be continued on 1 December.
He stated that the Serbian side made a series of concrete proposals as to how to bridge differences, but that the Pristina delegation responded to every proposal, mostly harmonised with the EU, with maximalist and unacceptable demands.
Stefanovic reiterated that there is no way that Serbia will accept that administrative crossings have any features of a state border.
He underlined that the Serbian delegation did it level best to reach an agreement, but it cannot be that the one side gets it all, and the other nothing.
The solution to the administrative crossings must be in line with the Serbian Constitution and UN Resolution 1244, with the respect for the interests of the Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija, he stressed.
