Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic condemned the incidents in northern Kosovo-Metohija last night and said that conflicts and unilateral moves are not a solution to the situation in the southern Serbian province.
In a statement to the Tanjug news agency following KFOR’s attempts to remove barriers from the main road Kosovska Mitrovica-Leposavic in Dudin Krs he said that a chance must be given to dialogue in Brussels and that everything must be done for compromise and solutions at administrative crossing Jarinje and Brnjak to be reached.
The Minister reiterated that preserving peace is most important and told KFOR and Serbs in Kosovo to be cautious and not to try to solve problems by force.
KFOR has to guarantee safety of all citizens of Kosovo-Metohija, he underlined.
