Dulic-Markovic said in a statement to Tanjug news agency that she and her German counterpart discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture. She stressed that German experience in the development of diversified agriculture is very interesting to Serbia.
German representatives have shown interest in cooperation in agriculture, primarily in the winemaking industry, and for Serbia, she said, it is very important to take part in Germany’s regional projects being implemented in Western Balkan countries.
Dulic-Markovic and the Serbian delegation are taking part in the international agriculture, food industry, and horticulture exhibition called the ‘Green Week’.
During her stay in Germany, Dulic-Markovic will also meet with the EU’s agriculture commissioner, Mariann Fischer Boel, and with line ministers from Austria, Russia, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Macedonia.
She will also take part in the 12th of conference the East-West Agriculture Forum, themed “Sustainable Agricultural Economy and Innovations — Opportunities and Challenges for Politics and Society,” which is being held as part of this year’s ‘Green Week’.
