Lehne informed the Serbian government about the postponement of the visit of EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana to Belgrade, scheduled for tomorrow, explaining that conditions are still not right for the visit.
At the same time, Lehne confirmed the visit of European Commissioner for EU Enlargement Olli Rehn on Monday, January 24, when he will meet with representatives of the state union and both member states on relations of Serbia-Montenegro with the EU.
Labus and Lehne agreed that the continuation of European integration processes of Serbia-Montenegro depends on essential progress in cooperation with The Hague, and that it is necessary to apply concrete measures in overcoming this problem.
Regarding the issue of elections on the state union level, Lehne underlined that the EU would accept a solution stemming from an agreement worked out between Belgrade and Podgorica.
