Consumer prices in October 2011 in comparison to the same month last year increased by 8.7%, while compared to December 2010 they increased by 6.8%.
Observed by groups and compared to the previous month, the greatest price increase was recorded in the groups clothes and footwear (1.3%), furniture and household maintenance (1%), food and soft drinks (0.7%), restaurants and hotels (0.3%), apartment taxes, electricity, gas and other fuels (0.2%), while the drop in prices was recorded in the groups transport (-0.2%) and education (-0.1%).
The prices of other goods and services did not change significantly.
