Three bidders contested for the takeover of 70 percent of the Rubin assets, including Zemun’s Invej, a consortium formed of Vinarija Coka from Subotica and Rodic MB from Kula, as well as the Slovenian firm Istrabenz.
Invej offered a purchase price of €20.1 million, with a €11.4 million five-year investment programme, and an unchanged social programme.
The Privatisation Agency will start talks with Invej to define details of the sale purchase agreement. If the talks are successful, the acquisition contract is to be signed within 30 days.
