Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic stated today that the Serbian Parliament is expected to discuss the Report on the activities of the Serbian government regarding the stabilisation of the situation in Kosovo-Metohija on 2 November.
Cvetkovic told Tanjug news agency that the text of the
Report on Kosovo-Metohija, which was submitted to the Serbian Parliament late yesterday basically gives a sort of chronology of developments, with political assessments and government activities in this period.
The adoption of this document, as he pointed out, was the obligation of the Serbian government in accordance with the Declaration on the current situation in Kosovo-Metohija after unilateral and violent acts of the provisional institutions of self-government in Pristina, adopted by Serbian Parliament on 31 July.
In accordance with this declaration, the government is obliged to inform the Parliament every three months about the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and the measures it undertakes, the Prime Minister explained.
The government’s latest report was submitted to the Parliament late yesterday and the government proposed that the session dedicated to this matter be held on 2 November.
