Head of the Serbian negotiating team for talks with Pristina Borislav Stefanovic said today that in order to resolve the situation in the north of Kosovo it is necessary to find a status-neutral solution that will remove the presence of the Kosovo officials at the administrative crossings in that part of the province.
In an interview for Russia Today news channel Stefanovic stated that he expects the solution to regulate the exchange of goods in the north of Kosovo in a status-neutral manner, excluding Kosovo officials, after which the division of the profits has to be regulated and it has to be decided which laws should be enforced.
Pristina’s solution for the north of Kosovo is not acceptable it represents an attempt to establish state border between Serbia and Kosovo.
State border is unacceptable especially in the area mainly populated by Serbs where there should be an administrative line, he reiterated.
Serbia will not accept this development of events, thus it is necessary to find a different solution, the Head of the Serbian negotiating team concluded.
