In a statement to Radio Television B92 Stefanovic said that additional consultations will be held and added that it is important for Pristina to send positive signals for the temporary solution of the administrative crossings problem.
Activities of the KFOR, which announced removal of the barricades at the north of Kosovo over the weekend, were also discussed today with Cooper, with both parties agreeing that every unilateral activity of the similar kind would undermine the already unstable situation, Stefanovic said.
Such a dangerous move would be a big setback and it is important for all the parties to agree that it would ultimately have extremely negative impact, the head of the government’s team said.
Serbia cannot accept unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo, but we are ready for dialogue in order to find viable solution which would protect our state interests in the north of Kosovo, Stefanovic reiterated.
