Bogdanovic said at a news conference after a meeting with Cooper that agreement was reached that the current situation in the north of Kosovo is unacceptable for all, and that dialogue should be the way to solve all the problems that exist in the province and consequently on its north.
He pointed out that Cooper agreed that it is necessary that there is communication of international missions and the local Serbs in order to overcome the problems.
The Minister said that he told the EU mediator that the barricades in the north of Kosovo are not there to threaten EULEX or KFOR, but that they exist because of the presence of Kosovo customs and border police at the administrative crossings.
He said that the Serbian people do not oppose for EULEX and KFOR to have freedom of movement, but it is unacceptable that they transport Kosovo customs officers.
It is also unacceptable that KFOR closes the alternative paths, thus preventing the supply of basic food of the population, he said.
The details of the proposed settlement of the situation in the north of the province will be discussed by Cooper and head of the Serbian government's negotiating team Borislav Stefanovic, said Bogdanovic.
Speaking about resuming dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, the Minister reiterated that it makes no sense to talk about telecommunications and energy, while there is a problem in the north and barricades.
There is not much point in just holding the talks, he said noting that agreements need to be reached. Those solutions should be applicable for the benefit of citizens, he pointed out that in this situation there is a danger that what is agreed to be obstructed.
Bogdanovic also said that it is very important to conduct an independent investigation to establish facts about recent events at the administrative crossing Jarinje.
He pointed out that it is absolutely unacceptable to apply force against anyone, and that shooting is unacceptable either against the citizens or KFOR.
He said that Belgrade and Kosovo Serbs are committed to peaceful resolution of problems.
What happened at Jarinje must never be repeated and we condemn all violence, no matter on which side, said Bogdanovic.
