EULEX to take over investigation into murder of Serbs in Kosovo

The Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija has strongly condemned the killing of a Serb in Zrze village near Orahovac yesterday and asked EULEX to take over police investigation because the Serbian community in Kosovo has no trust in the Kosovo Police Service.
The statement said that during the night between Saturday and Sunday in the village of Zrze, Aleksandar Putnik (51) was killed by an unidentified Albanian, while his son Dobrica Putnik (23) was wounded.
The Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija strongly condemns this crime and demands that the perpetrators be found and that the motive for the attack is revealed.
The Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija requests that Dobrica Putnik is transferred from Prizren hospital to the hospital in Kosovska Mitrovica because of security reasons, the statement added.
