The Serbian Statistics Office stated today that the average August gross salary in Serbia amounted to RSD 53,285, which is by 1.6% lower in nominal terms and real terms against July 2011.
The average net salary in August 2011 amounted to RSD 38,389, which is by 1.9% lower in nominal and real terms when compared to the previous month.
This year’s average August gross salary, compared to the average gross salary in August 2010, was nominally higher by 12.9% and by 2.2% in real terms.
The average net salary in August 2011 was by 13.1% higher in nominal terms and by 2.4% in real terms when compared to the average net salary in August 2010.
The average gross salary in the period January–August 2011, compared to the same period in 2010, was nominally up by 11.1% and 1.4% lower in real terms.
The average take-home salary in the period January–August 2011, compared to the same period in 2010, was nominally up by 11.2% and 1.3% lower in real terms.
This year’s average August gross salary, compared to the average gross salary in August 2010, was nominally higher by 12.9% and by 2.2% in real terms.
