Bogdanovic meets with municipality presidents from northern Kosovo

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic met today with municipality presidents of Zvecan, Kosovska Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zubin Potok and Chief of the Kosovska Mitrovica District Radenko Nedeljkovic.

Bogdanovic said after the meeting that the Serbian people in the north of Kosovo is resolved to remain firmly on the barricades and peacefully defend their interests.
The municipality presidents also said that there is unity of the people, who have the absolute support of Serbia for the peaceful protest and resistance, said Bogdanovic.
It is important that municipality presidents have identical views on how to continue to struggle against unilateral actions of Pristina and one part of the international community that supports such activities.
Bogdanovic added that the meeting focused on possibilities for improving the lives of citizens in the north of the province, as well as the security situation.
The Minister for Kosovo-Metohija said that it is unacceptable that KFOR is trying to close alternate routes in the north.
Bogdanovic said he expects the 13 drivers of Eurokop who are on trial Vuctrn for alleged illegal entry into Kosovo are released.
He stressed that Serbia is committed to dialogue and peaceful resolution of problems in the province.
