Head of the Office of Media Relations Srdjan Djuric said today that the Serbian government has approved a reorganisation of the Coordinating Body for the South of Serbia, led by Nebojsa Covic, in order to include the ethnic-Albanian minority in state institutions.

Djuric told Tanjug news agency that the government will carry out its policy through the Coordinating Body, in hopes of stabilising the situation in the south of Serbia as soon as possible.
According to Djuric, by integrating the ethnic-Albanian community in all structures and activities of society and through dialogue with representatives of the ethnic-Albanian minority, the Serbian government wants to restore mutual trust and the spirit of tolerance, which will result in an easing of tensions in this part of Serbia.
He stressed that at the same time, the government and the Coordinating Body will carry out a policy of creating conditions for a normal life in the south of Serbia.
