Former director of National health insurance fund arrested for abuse of position

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic stated late yesterday that the police arrested former director of the National health insurance fund Svetlana Vukajlovic and two more persons on suspicion of having abused their official position in the case of purchase of the vaccines against influenza A (H1N1).
Dacic told Tanjug news agency that the police also arrested Director of company Jugohemija Vladimir Gravar and Director of company Detap Ljubomir Pavlicevic.
The arrest was made by members of the Department for the fight against organised crime, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s office for the fight against organised crime.
A further investigation will show if there are more suspects related to the purchase of vaccines against the influenza A.
