Stefanovic said after the meeting that Serbian institutions will remain in Kosovo-Metohija and any agreement with Pristina will be directed at helping citizens and their lives and solving big problems they have without jeopardising our positions on sovereignty.
He said that Serbia supports activities aimed at the investigation of crimes, if they are carried out in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and a status-neutral approach.
Stefanovic said that he came to Kosovo in order to talk to Serbs and inform them about Serbia’s current foreign political position and what Serbia is going to face in Brussels in the following days.
That is preservation of peace and stability, not reacting to any provocations, continuation of support to Serbia and its institutions in Kosovo-Metohija and at the same time continuation of our European integration, he pointed out.
Not a single act of Pristina’s adventurism should be allowed at the moment, to change the situation in northern Kosovo again, because it is impossible and because it deeply harms dialogue and agreements and the dialogue is the only way to solve problems, he stressed.
It should not be allowed any act of adventurism and Pristina to change the situation in northern Kosovo, because it is impossible to measure deep and would damage the dialogue with Pristina, said Stefanovic, where he repeated that dialogue is the only way to solve problems .
We talked about possibilities to solve the crisis and maintain peace and stability and about not giving any reason for any unilateral violent moves by Pristina, he stressed.
