Jeremic told reporters after the UN Security Council meeting that violence is unacceptable and that progress in Kosovo-Metohija can be achieved only through dialogue.
It is very disappointing that some members of the Security Council blocked the presidential statement, and thus the chance to put these views on paper was missed.
The Minister said that those who blocked the presidential statement now have a responsibility if Pristina again resorts to unilateral moves and new violence.
Serbia remains committed to dialogue, because it is the only way to make some progress, he said and expressed the hope that dialogue will be restored soon.
When it comes to investigating the report by Council of Europe rapporteur Dick Marty on organ trafficking in Kosovo, Jeremic said he expects the Security Council to take its view on the Serbian proposed resolution.
He said that Serbia has renewed its request to establish a mechanism that will investigate the allegations from the report within the UN.
The Minister said that Serbia will cooperate with EULEX special team investigating organ trafficking in Kosovo, led by Clint Williamson, but warned that this body cannot carry out an investigation outside Kosovo and that it is a matter of time to realise that it is a vain attempt without a mandate given by the Security Council.
