Stefanovic told the Vecernje Novosti daily that the next round of talks with Pristina will definitely be held on 5 September in Brussels, adding that Belgrade and Pristina have agreed to renew dialogue.
He also said that EU’s mediator Robert Cooper made great efforts to gathered the two sides at the negotiating table again.
At this point it is important that we continue with what we have started because it is in the best interests of Serbs living in Kosovo, Stefanovic said, adding that during the negotiations Serbia will insist that the customs seals do not include any symbol of Kosovo.
He said that resolving the issue of customs seals will reduce tensions in Kosovo, but noted that it is separate from the issue of regulating the turnover at administrative crossings.
