Agreement on ending crisis in north Kosovo possible

Head of the Serbian government’s team for dialogue with Pristina Borislav Stefanovic and Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic expressed satisfaction late yesterday with the progress achieved in the talks with KFOR commander Erhard Buehler.

Stefanovic told Tanjug news agency that the agreement on termination of the crisis in northern Kosovo is possible.
We are close to reaching an agreement that is in line with the position of Serbia and citizens of northern Kosovo, but also with the preservation of peace and stability and the ideas of the negotiating process, Stefanovic underlined.
Bogdanovic announced that he will meet today with representatives of municipalities in northern Kosovo and then with citizens on the barricades. He urged once more for restraint of all the parties involved and asked citizens of northern Kosovo to remain dignified as up until now and committed to peaceful resolution of the situation.
