The Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija has demanded that KFOR and EULEX find and punish the persons who broke into, damaged and robbed eight Serb houses in the village of Ljevosa near Pec.
The Ministry says in a statement that the village of Ljevosa, located beyond the Pec Patriarchate, is inhabited by 30 returnees, adding that this incident is a clear message of Albanian extremists to Serbs as to what awaits them if they should return to their ancient homesteads.
The Ministry demands that KFOR and EULEX act in line with their mandates and protect Kosovo Serbs south from the Ibar River because over the past several days they have been the target of Albanian extremists and members of the Regional Operational Support Unit (ROSU).
