Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica sent a Christmas greeting to President of Republika Srpska Dragan Cavic.

Prime Minister Kostunica’s greeting reads:

Dear Mr. Cavic,

Receive my warmest greetings on the occasion of this great and merry Christmas holiday, the Day of Saint Stephen the Martyr and Archdeacon, and the Day of Republika Srpska.

Republika Srpska, as an entity of Bosnia-Herzegovina, gives a permanent contribution to peace and stability in our region. Everyone knows how much effort Republika Srpska has put forth to create good relations with the other entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina and to secure successful work of the joint institutions, and what great progress has been made in the improvement of situation in Republika Srpska and the promotion of living conditions for its citizens.

I firmly believe that only through full respect of the Dayton agreement will it be possible to make further progress and create a better future for Republika Srpska and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

I wish you and all citizens of Republika Srpska to persevere in the effort to create a better future for Republika Srpska and to spend merry days of the great Christmas holiday and the Patron Saint's Day of Republika Srpska - Saint Stephan the Martyr and Archdeacon in peace, good health and true welfare.
